During the Pottery and Arts and Crafts Market in Fuerstenfeldbruck in August 2025, we had the opportunity to meet nature photographer Martin Sinzinger.
He is a unique individual with a deep connection to nature and its impact on the human soul. Based in Muehldorf am Inn, he runs an organic farm and is also an artisan. He pursues his passion for nature photography not only there, but also at selected locations throughout Europe. After an interesting conversation at the exhibition in Fuerstenfeld, we bought a high-quality kitchen knife and his German book “Schönheit entdecken” (Discovering Beauty) from him.
We highly recommend his German book “Schönheit entdecken – Wie Mensch und Natur sich in der Begegnung fördern”. This large-format book contains unique nature photographs accompanied by profound texts. The images capture the unique beauty of nature and life in their diverse forms, colors, and lighting effects. They evoke deep fascination and a connection to the sometimes small, sometimes spectacular events in nature, whether it's the lifelines of a boulder, the colorful elegance of a flower or the exuberant lightness of a butterfly.
Often, these impressions in nature are perceived by the viewer only fleetingly and unconsciously. Martin Sinzinger attempts to counteract this with his artistic photography, allowing his images of nature to have a deeper effect on the viewer's soul. In doing so, he demonstrates ways in which we can develop an active and conscious relationship with nature and its protection. The subtle texts in the book are firmly rooted in the ideals of Rudolf Steiner and Heinz Grill.
