South Tyrol

South Tyrol (Alto aldige in Italian) - especially the Merano area - has become our preferred holiday destination over the last 10 years. Everything is right here, 

so we will certainly return often. What makes South Tyrol so special? It is the alpine landscape with great hiking possibilities, the Mediterranean climate, the tasty cuisine with good wines and finally the rich cultural life.
